Here’s how we transform your vision into reality, ensuring a stress-free and enjoyable experience throughout your project
To begin the construction process, call us or fill out the form on our contact page so that we can learn more about you and your vision of your space. Include your inspirational photos or videos.
We start with a discovery phone call to discuss your project in depth. We discuss the current space - what works, what doesn't work, pain points - and what drives your desire to change. We ensure all influential parties have buy-in to the process. We also ask and answer some tough questions. And, in the end, If we both feel we're a good fit, we'll schedule a visit to your home.
A professional design consultant will visit your home to understand your project goals. We discuss means and methods, and provide insight into how to design your new space. We take preliminary measurements and provide a rough estimate, giving you a clearer financial perspective of your project.
We provide a comprehensive agreement outlining our specific services during the design and pre-construction phases. Signing this agreement establishes our formal collaboration. Depending on the project's complexity, this step has an associated cost ranging from $1,600 to $20,000 (this does not include fees for engineering, Title 24 analysis, green building codes, etc). Depending on project type, a portion of the design services fee can be credited to the cost of construction, if you decide to sign a construction services contract with us.
Together, we establish your project's timeline, budget, and overall scope of work, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision. We create your floor plan and elevation drawings so you can visualize the layout and design. We discuss aesthetics and make material selections. If permits are required, we will create the construction plans for submittal to the permitting authority.
Once the drawings are complete and all the finish items have been selected, we will provide a construction services agreement and collect a deposit. We coordinate our subcontractor schedules to ensure your project is executed promptly and efficiently. We'll also begin ordering materials aligned with the project's design and budget requirements.
We meet to walk your site and discuss what aspects are most important to you, ensuring our team effectively prioritizes your needs. We will then finalize preparations for construction and carefully set up the site so our team can get to work.
You'll receive daily updates and photos about your project's progress. We also conduct weekly on-site meetings with you and the construction crew to ensure continuous alignment and address any questions or adjustments.
We meet to conduct a punch list walkthrough to identify and note any final touch-ups or adjustments needed. Our team finalizes all the details perfectly, ensuring you are delighted with the finished project.
We hire professional cleaners to clean your new space from top to bottom. Your site is left in pristine condition and ready to enjoy.
We review and finalize all project details and payments.
We offer a 1-year warranty on installation and the manufacturer's warranty on materials.
Our team regularly checks in to see how your home is holding up and to schedule any required warranty work.
